Everyone at Tipson CKD would like to offer their sincerest congratulations to Mr DeMichele and Mr Sexton on the award of their black belts at the 20th Anniversary black belt grading on 24.04.08

You both did an excellent job and we're all really proud of you - well done guys!

Thanks also to everyone who came along and supported them at the grading.

Summer BBQ

Tipson Choi Kwang Do is holding a summer BBQ at Horton Country Park on Sunday 8th June from 2pm to 6pm. EVERYONE is welcome (inc. students, family, friends).

The costs for this event are £2 per person to cover the hire of the land and the BBQ equipment for the afternoon.

Each person / family brings whatever they want to cook / eat and drink and should bring rubbish bags so we leave no mess.

Please register your interest with Angie. Payment of £2 is due at the time of registration.

January Promotion

January sees the introduction of the Bring a Friend promotion. If you bring a friend or family member along in January and they join, you get a free grading or a voucher to the value of £30 to purchase anything in our pro shop.

December Classes

Please make a note that the school will be closed for Christmas.

The last class for the year will be on 22nd December (there are no classes on the 23rd as we are running a grading!) and we re-open for the New Year on Friday 4th January.

CKD 20th Anniversary Seminar

In March 2007 we celebrated our 20th year anniversary in Atlanta, Georgia with the seminar, special black belt testing, and many other activities. Thousands of people from all around the world attended this historical event. Since then Choi Kwang Do has been propelled to the international martial art scene at a level never witnessed in martial art history. This time we are now once again creating martial art history in Europe. On the 26th of April 2008, people from all world will be coming together to celebrate 20 years of Choi Kwang Do excellence in the U.K.

This is a personal invitation for you to attend this mammoth event to be held in the state of the art sport centre, K2, in Crawley, Sussex, England. Since this is an international event run from headquarters, please help us by registering in a timely manner.
